Canadian C11 Entrepreneur Visa Program
The Canadian C11 Entrepreneur Visa Program allows individuals interested in temporarily starting a business, purchasing, or operating a business in Canada to apply for a work visa. Applicants for the C11 Entrepreneur/Self-Employed Work Permit need to demonstrate to the Canadian government that their business activities in Canada will bring significant economic, social, or cultural benefits and opportunities to Canadian citizens or permanent residents. If, after a year of operating the business, the applicant plans to apply for Canadian permanent residency and stay in Canada, immigration officers should encourage the applicant to apply for permanent residence to continue their business.
Application conditions
No personal net worth requirement.
Suggested minimum investment of CAD 150,000 (for establishing a business).
Must achieve a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 7 or higher, with each section of IELTS (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) scoring at least 6.
Possession of a college degree or higher.
Entrepreneurial requirements: Must comply with qualifications recognized by the Canadian government and the business must remain profitable.
