The Canadian LMIA Owner Operator is a work permit program specifically designed for foreign owners of Canadian businesses. After being audited and assessed by the Canadian Department of Labor, this program allows foreigners to operate a business in Canada with a work visa, accumulate relevant work experience in Canada, and apply for immigration based on this experience.

Application Requirements:

No personal net worth requirement.

Suggested minimum investment of CAD 100,000 (to establish a business) or CAD 300,000 (to purchase a business, depending on market conditions).

At least 3 years of management experience as a business owner or senior executive in the past 10 years.

Must achieve a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) of 7 or higher, with each section of IELTS (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) scoring at least 6.
